Please Don't Get Ripped Off! If
all you want is the cheapest way to incorporate a business, don't
use one of those cheap internet outfits who don't provide any
personal service.
Most won't do anything more than what you could do for yourself by
clicking on the Secretary of State link at the bottom right corner
of this page and filling out the their forms. Of course, we
believe you need an attorney's help to incorporate properly.
If you want to know why, read on. - Heidi L. Pliam |
The primary difference between us and all of those
dirt-cheap incorporation services is that we offer hours of in-person
attorney advice -- advice you will appreciate once you realize that it's
not as simple as some would like you to believe. Unlike the cheap
internet lawyers and paralegals, we walk you through everything you need
to know, and don't oversimplify. Nor do we sell you fancy books
and certificates that you don't need. We've carved out all the fat and
none of the meat!
As a full-service business law
firm we won't compromise on quality legal advice. We want to build
a lasting relationship with your business; not just sell a single
product.
Our attorneys offer
group-incorporation workshops for only $595.00*. Normally,
the same service by one of our attorneys is $900.00 or more.
HOW
WE DO BETTER FOR LESS
By incorporating multiple
businesses at the same time, we can lower our costs by (1) saving on
attorney time; (2) streamlining the paperwork preparation; and (3)
saving paralegal time by filing several companies at once.
We've spent five years
perfecting a proprietary method for streamlining the incorporation
process, so that we don't have to compromise on quality legal advice.
Our SMART START(TM)
Incorporation workshop uses the same exact attorneys, information,
advice, documents and support that we provide clients incorporating
individually, except they pay $300 more.
*The $595.00 actually
includes the government filing fee!
WHAT WE DO BETTER THAN NON-ATTORNEYS:
Most (if not all) of the cheap
websites that incorporate for under $500 are not run by attorneys.
This means three important things:
-
You won't receive custom
advice for your particular situation. It is illegal for
non-attorneys to practice law. Therefore, the documents you get
are one-size-fits all, and they might overlook ways of structuring
your company that would be much better for you in the long run (if not
the short run).
-
You won't be able to sue for
malpractice if something is done wrong;
-
You won't know what all the
documents are for, or what they mean.
-
You won't know how to meet
your post-incorporation duties. If you don't know what
formalities to follow, you may find you have lost your liability
protection, which is the whole reason most companies incorporate in
the first place.
WHAT WE DO BETTER THAN SOME
ATTORNEYS:
We realize that some attorneys provide all the same services and
information that we provide. However, we found, much to our
dismay, that most attorneys do not believe it is their responsibility to
teach you what happens after incorporation. We also found
that most attorneys competing with our prices do not explain things as
thoroughly to their clients. They tend to ask their clients
several questions and mail them a pile of documents without good
explanation.
-
We charge only $595.00 for the
same services for which many other attorneys charge over $1,500.00.
-
We offer plain-English
explanations of your options with hypothetical examples showing how
they matter.
-
We teach you how to write
minutes, sign a corporate signature and follow other rules for
avoiding personal liability.
-
We walk you through the
paperwork so you know what it says.
-
Our group workshop setting
allows you to learn from others, in case you didn't think to ask a
question yourself, and gives you opportunities to network!
IN FAIRNESS TO OUR
COMPETITORS:
We are admittedly making generalizations above. They are based on what
we found when researching the internet for competitive services.
This doesn't mean there aren't sites out there offering the same level
of quality for the same affordable price; we just didn't find any in our
search.
